How do you choose appropriate learning resources?

If you’re a parent, you can use the following tips to find the most helpful primary resources for your child. Ask your child’s teacher what resources they recommend. Most teachers will have long lists of websites and apps that they find useful in their classrooms. If you don’t know who your child’s teacher is, you can ask your principal or another school staff member.There are many primary school materials that can help children learn. 

  1. Textbooks: Textbooks are a great resource for learning maths. They often provide clear explanations, examples, and practice problems to reinforce learning.
  1. Workbooks: Workbooks are a great way for children to practise maths skills. They often include a variety of problems that increase in difficulty as children progress through the book.
  1. Manipulatives: Manipulatives are physical objects that children can use to help them understand mathematical concepts. Examples include blocks, counting beads, and fraction bars.
  1. Online resources: There are many online resources available that can help children learn maths. These may include videos, interactive games, and practice problems.
